A Bromoil print is one in which the original B&W silver bromide image is chemically removed from the paper and replaced with a stiff litho type oil pigment. The ink is stippled onto the damp gelatin surface creating a beautiful etched like quality. A wide variety of creative interpretations may be achieved through working and reworking the ink.

This workshop will be of interest to photographers who wish to depart from conventional B&W printing and explore the potential of this rare photographic process.

Darkroom experience necessary.
