| Digital Camera Vision | INSTRUCTOR: Alex Murchison & Jean-Sébastien Duchesne |
DATE: August 7 – August 11 | ||||||
| Spend five days and nights exploring the fields and forest, shorelines and cityscapes of Canada's lush seacoast province of Prince Edward Island.
Lens selection, subject composition, motion, exposure and other topics will be covered during daily field trips in this tranquil coastal environment. There are expansive tidal flats and luminous sunsets, wildflowers and morning mist, farmlands and historic architecture ... enough to occupy any interest. Daily themes, assignments and frequent group critiques will help define your vision and problem solve technical issues, refining your approach to the next day's shoot. On the final day students will enter the digital darkroom and produce a small portfolio of high quality ink-jet prints. This course is primarily about better image making with digital cameras. Participants should have some experience with photography and a preliminary working knowledge of their camera. |
