| Rich landscape settings generate emotional and conceptual possibilities not available to a photographer shooting in the studio. Prince Edward Island offers a unique landscape abundant in red sands, textured farmlands, warm waters and weathered architecture. The goal of this workshop is to generate images that combine figure and landscape, creating resonances that weave the two together into a larger whole. Participants will deal with the practical aspects of posing and directing models while identifying locations and qualities of light that enhance personal vision. | |

 Karin Rosenthal has photographed the nude in the landscape since 1975, interested especially in the illusions created by combining bodies and still water. She has exhibited nationally and her photos reside in major collections such as, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Fogg Art Museum, and the International Center for Photography. |
